I'm really thankful that my upbringing taught me to always question authority and research the validity of any information I'm given. That school of thought, however, tends to run contrary to the goals of a religious-based education where a lot of the information given must be taken as-is, since questioning it means questioning the very authority of God himself. I can only imagine that, had I ever gone to such an institution, I'd probably have ended up doing the same things as this girl did to get her teachers fuming.
